Ever notice the good feeling you have when you do something well? The
happiness you feel when you finally understand something? A summer at Camp
L'man Achai helps boys understand more about what being Jewish means to them.
Children come away with a new perspective on who they are and even something of what
they are going to be.

Yes, Camp
L'man Achai actually makes learning fun! Camp
L'man Achai offers
daily Hebrew lessons for beginners to advanced levels, by our well-trained
professional Hebrew instructors. For campers in their thirteenth year, special
Bar Mitzvah lessons are offered. No previous Jewish education is necessary for
Camp
L'man Achai. Campers come from all level of Jewish observance.

Three nutritious and delectable kosher meals are served daily, family style.
The food is prepared in our kitchens by professional cooks and chefs.
Regular canteen time offers supplies to campers as well as candy, drinks and snack
items. Laundry service is provided by camp, with a quick turnaround.

Our health plan has been thoroughly structured to fit the needs of our
campers. Emergency Medical Technicians are on duty around the clock to provide
medical support in the camp's fully equipped and modern wellness center, which
includes an examining area and isolation rooms. Hospital support is provided by
the nearby hospitals in our area, should more acute care be required.

Camp should help a boy mature and develop self-confidence. Exploring new
ideas, honing talents and developing social skills are all part of the Camp
L'man Achai experience. To maximize this aspect, we keep Camp
L'man Achai
relatively small. No boy gets lost in the crowd. Self-expression is encouraged and
everyone finds an area to excel in.

As a non-profit camp dedicated to providing a Jewish camping experience, we
want this to be a positive experience for parents as well. Hence, our fees are
kept low, although the quality of our camp match those priced much higher.
